Joey Wright
Although born in Maryland, Joey Wright has called Tennessee home since 1979. He has owned and operated his own technology company for 14 years. As a means to improve his duck hunting, Joey found sporting clays and has been competitively shooting since 2010. STS is a way for him to merge his knowledge of technology with his love of shooting.
Early on, Joey began working “behind the scenes” with the Montgomery County Shooting Complex by organizing, promoting, and running tournaments. For the past 6 years he has worked extensively with the National Sporting Clays Association by setting up digital scoreboards for the National Championships and the World English Sporting Championships. Joey also designed and operates the real-time scoring system for the Professional Sporting Clays Association (PSCA Tour).
